CSI Case File #85 + PP August Sketch Challenge

Hi lovelies! I am popping by today to show you a non-DT related layout that I finished last night. I have really been trying to get alot of creative things done so I was able to do 2 pages on 2 different nights, which isn't that bad considering I had a lot else to do. I cleaned the whole house back to front, and had a few errands to run. The only thing that's left for hubby to finish today is laundry (which is my least favorite house chore). I am hoping I can keep the creative juices following this weekend as I have all late work shifts so I can stay up later and sleep in later the next day. Then I have Monday/Tuesday off with hubby and we have a fun pizza pub/ bingo date planned for Monday night. I'm excited!! Ok, enough blabber, on with the pictures!

I used the color palette and inspiration from CSI Case File #85. For my evidence I used labels/tags/something clear/decorative buttons/string/frame and for Testimony I used journal on a tag/ handwrite a story.

I also used this month's sketch from Purple Pumpkin. I rotated the sketch and used twine and some buttons from PP.

Here is what I came up with: 

I apologize for the not so great photos. I took these this morning on our coffee table cause the light was pretty bright in there but they turned out kinda weird once I tried to edit them. Only light on half of the photo! So sorry about that!
