FDFF Challenge: Things with Wings + a Sketch

Hi friends and followers! I am here on this lovely Saturday to share my project for the FDFF Challenge, which this time is to use our sketch + anything with wings! You can use angel wings, birds, butterflies, bugs, bees, you get the idea! And our sponsor this time is Molossi from Austraila! The winner of this challenge gets a lovely prize pack from them and of course bragging rights! Here is the sketch:

And here is my layout:

And some close ups! My favorite thing is combining different elements to create a unique mix of products. Here I used some paper piecings from The Girl's Paperie 'on holiday' kit, some Jolee's 3d birds, some paper roses by Michael's, 2 types of thicker's alphas, buttons, scraps of canvas, and 2 round pieces from a kit I found at Tuesday Mornings. The flower with the large button at the top was made by my friend, Laura for SF convention last fall. I also used just a bit of washi tape. The papers are also from the kit and there's a bit of vintage Basic Grey in there too, I can't resist using my favorite paper line on almost every layout! LOL

I love this saying... "Free your Soul"

And in case you haven't noticed, my new favorite thing is to combine thickers alphas for my page titles.

"Love Life" ain't that the truth??!?!

As this post goes live, I am already in our new place in Portland, Oregon!! So as soon as we get settled and I get my scrapping area set up I will post some pics for everyone of my new space. I am so excited to be embarking on a new lifestyle and new adventures with my hubby. It's going to be a big change from South Alabama but I know it will be great! Stay tuned for more updates after the move once we get internet hooked up and boxes unpacked :)

Don't forget to link up your layout or OTP project no later than Thursday, June 20th to be eligible for the lovely prize and the Design Team's pick for TOP 3!!! Don't you want a blinkie on your blog??? Good luck and we can't wait to see what you create!!! Until next time friends,
PEACE Y'ALL~VV!
