FDFF 'Scallops' Challenge + Purple Pumpkin March Sketch

Good day everyone! I'm here today to share the project I created for the Fabulous Friday Challenge over at Frosted Designs! Our challenge this time was to create any layout, mini album or project using scallops!! I happen to LOVE scallops, I even have some scallop scissors and a scallop circle punch, so this was pretty easy for me! I have also used the March Sketch over at Purple Pumpkin for my layout. I started the base of my layout by layering some papers that I inked, distressed, spritzed and sprayed. I also had a few scallop circles that I knew I wanted to use so I placed those around my page until I was happy with the placement. Then I started adding my textural elements. There are lots of PP goodies and other stuff from my stash on this page!

 And a couple of close ups:

I thought I was just about done then I realized that I hadn't put anything in place of the 'banner' at the bottom of the page on the sketch, so I used a scallop banner mini stamp from Studio G and made a inky banner across the bottom of the page.

 This one is my fav!!! Maybe my new cover photo on facebook... LOL

 I also thought that one of my PP buttons, the hot pink spotty dotty one was a little too 'clean and bright' for this grungy-girly layout. So I decided to mess it up with 2 colors of stickles and a bit of black ink, then put in on top of 2 prima flowers as the center.
