Our Fabulous Friday Challenge this time is to make any card, layout, or OTP project using Punches! I know lots of you have tons of these little guys laying around your creative space. I actually never really got into the punch thing but I do own a few. So this should be pretty simple!!! Here is my project for your inspiration:
For this layout I used my scallop punch, my heart punch, and my tag punch. I really wanted the papers to relect the bright colors in the photos so I used a scrap of some of my favorite Basic Grey paper to tie it all together, and pink and purple for the base. I wanted to ground my photos a bit so I used the same kraft paper I used to punch the tag. Once I had the photos glued down I was able to place my other elements. It came together pretty quickly! Here are a few close ups:
To add some dimenson to the hearts I punched, I glued them to kraft paper then tied it with a black tulle piece. After that I over them with stickles in 'fruit punch' and copper, kinda messy like to emulate the icing on the donuts. After that I hit it with my heat gun and it made the tulle shrink up a bit, which I really like the look of, goes with the whole 'voodoo' thing.
